Seattle do!

So, Speed Circus won that particular vote on Xfm and got played again on daytime radio, thanks if you voted they really are fabulous…………………….

Band of Horses – Everything All The Time



Found this forthcoming album the past week and I’m loving it. Signed to Subpop and actually coming from Seattle BOH have formed from the ashes of cult local band Carissa’s Weird who you can hear and download at this fan led MYSPACE site.
The vocals are a mix of Wayne Coyne, Jim James and James Mercer- sometimes all at once and the music is something like these singers respective bands yet strangely different at the same time. I like it. anyway, its right up my street.

Another band signed to Subpop in recent times is The Brunettes from New Zealand. Perfect shimmering twee indie with Kiwi accents sometimes coming through, they are currently supporting Stamp Your Feet Say No in the US and will probably be much better than them.
