Where have I been??? Don’t know to be quite honest, had a birthday last week and I immediately felt that year older!!! I’ve been so tired, falling asleep at work and then crashing when I get in, that’s when I have been in otherwise I’ve been punishing my liver for whatever reason it deserves. Went to a couple of gigs by my mates SPEED CIRCUS (more of whom in a couple of weeks) and blah blah blah, sorry about the lack of updates but there you go!!!!
I have prepared my bandwagon jumping end of year list which should be up in time for chrimbo, trying to work out a unique scoring system to judge placings but I may yet go for the traditional top 50 or something, we’ll see.
So, it’s the start of a new downloads month on emusic, where will my 40 go??? I notice that a live Pixies compilation has been posted, exclusive to emusic, 31 tracks in total with all the obvious tunes recorded live in various locations during the bands last year and a half of reunion shows. It brought back good memories of the show at Reading and 4 days later at Alexandra Palace in August and made me realize that that was one of my gigs of the year, so I’ll work out the top ten gigs as well. Hope fully that will not be decided til next Tuesday after I’ve seen the WHIPPING BOY comeback gig in Cork, Ireland, I really cannae wait!!!!!!
